Dear Lord,
Thank You for giving us a safe trip to, during, and from Jackson, Mississippi. Thank You for allowing us to be a part of the 2011 Jackson Team/Class. Thank You for providing the funds for us to go. Thank You for beginning a mighty work in us. Thank You for promising to carry that work through to completion (Philippians 1:6). Thank You for teaching us a great many things through the people and situations You have surrounded us with. Thank You for allowing us to grow close as a team and form new friendships that will last a lifetime. I pray that You would allow our lights to shine like beacons of hope in the darkness and our voices to ring out with a message of Your love. I pray that You would not allow us to become complacent and settle for second best. I pray that You would not allow us to be happy with mediocre or second rate lives. Help us to step into Your promises and fulfill the plans You have laid out for us. Please continue to help us to seek after You will all of our being. I pray You would help us to go and make disciples of ALL nations. Heavenly Father, I pray you would help us to act justly, help us to love mercy, and help us to walk humbly with You (Micah 6:8).

ISAIAH 58:6-12
Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.
If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
